eBay Greetings,You are buying a: WW2 WWII USAAF 24th AAFGTD Okmulgee, Oklahoma SSI patch GLIDER TRAINING. Mint condition. This is a 2.0 inch cap device. The SSI variation is a little over 3" in diameter. A rare insignia. One of the best ones that I have seen. Found on page 135 of the "Cloth Insignia of the US State Guards and State Defense Forces" by Richard Smith and Steve Johnson. Rarity, since watching eBay since 2005 (was not on eBay while in Afghanistan from 2011-2012): I think I have seen 2-3 others.
