Up for auction is a WWII ID/Recognition Model: US Early War (Medium Tank M2) made of lead. The condition is excellent with about 95% of it's original paint and measures 5 3/4" by 3" (1/36 scale). Not sure who the manufacturer was (no markings other than "REY") but the detail is outstanding like that of the Comet models with the same shade of OD paint. all I can say is that it is one beautiful model and was happy to have it in my collection These models were used by troops during the war years to identify friend or foe military vehicles, tanks, ships and planes.
