This is the famous Norden Bombsight used on nearly all US WW2 bombers including the B-17, B-24, B-25, B-26, and B-29. This version in particular, the M9B was specifically used in the B-29 and was modified to meet the demands of high speed and high altitude bombing that the B-29 was designed for. It includes the X-1 Reflex Sight that was essentially a reflector gunsight tied to the bombsight telescope angle and used to spot the target without hunting in the narrow telescope field of view.
