This is an original Harian 1944 dated, Ranger D-day assault vest. Some one dyed it. It has a reddish brown tint to it. There are two small holes. One in at the bottom of the right lower pocket and the other is on the inside of the back pack so not so noticeable [see pictures]. The interior straps in the front grenade pouches have been removed. There is some staining. I did not try to clean it. The material is still strong. You can see that the eyelets are the original heavy duty ones and the small rectangular loops are cast, not wire like the copies use. I am a size 44 with a 38 in. wais... |
