I have owned this WWII Royal Canadian Air Force Flight Lieutenant's uniform coat since 1983. The Toronto tailor's label has the Pilot's name, D. Lindsay, and the date, 21/7/41. Lindsay was an American volunteer, as indicated by the "U.S.A" arched patches on the shoulders The beautiful King's crown RCAF pilot's wing is padded and in excellent condition The four campaign ribbons include the British 1939-45 Star, the Italy Star, the France/Germany Campaign medal and the Defense Medal.
