WWII Japanese Officers SWORD; AS-SEEN ; taken on Palau Island Original owner
I'd say, the mother was about 90, but didn't ask her brothers age. He obviously served during WWII. For whatever reason, this sword has no handle. The blade is not chipped and the tip is not broken on the blade.

WWII Letter 1945 Kamikaze Suicide Planes Japanese Submarine Okinawa Japan WW2
  An original World War Two letter including the coverdated 1945. The letter mentions suicide planes which were known asKamikazes  In one area it says Was in the Okinawa Invasion, and was in the fight there for over two months. Had some close ones-several ships were hit by sucide planes right around us. It made Palau seem like a picnic Had a sub following us, and our engines stopped, so we were dead in the water for three hours. Still can't see why the J_ps didn't get us then
